Name: 2024 Spring Scholastic  
Desc: Sections will be K-3, K-5, K-8, and K-12. Each player needs to check-in between 8 and 8:45 AM on April 20 (coaches may check-in players). Pairings will be generated on the day of play and play is expected to begin at 9 AM. Players arriving late (after 8:45 AM) will not be paired for the first round. There will be 4-5 rounds depending on the number of players. Rounds will begin approximately 15 minutes after the last game of a section is completed. All players will play in each round (unless a player receives a bye). Chess sets will be provided for tournament play. Bring your chess clock and pen or pencil to the tournament. K-8 and K-12 sections are required to record moves (K-3 and K-5 sections are encouraged to). Score sheets will be provided. Time control will be G/30 d/0 in the K-3 and K-5 sections and G/30 d/5 in the K-8 and K-12 sections.
