Desc: The Manasota Chess Center will hold a U.S. Chess Federation (USCF) rated 4-round Swiss tournament for up to 36 players. Two sections available: 1400+ (minimum rating 1400, not an Open section) and Under 1400. All rounds are Game in 30 minutes, with 5-second delay.

1400 AND ABOVE SECTION PRIZES: (contingent upon 20 entries)
1st Place: $100
2nd Place: $70
3rd Place: $50

UNDER 1400 SECTION PRIZES: (contingent upon 8 entries)
1st Place: $40 or free chess lesson at MCC
2nd Place: $30 or free chess lesson at MCC
3rd Place: $20 *********************************************** ROUNDS: 4 rounds. Round 1 begins at 12 noon. *********************************************** ENTRY FEE: If registered online before 11am on tournament day, $20 for Manasota Chess Center members; $25 for non-members. If registering on-site on tournament day, $25 for Manasota Chess Center members; $30 for non-members. NOTE: Manasota Chess Center members should enter discount code when completing online registration form. *********************************************** REGISTRATION: ALL PLAYERS must have a valid USCF membership ID# to participate. Non-USCF members can purchase a membership or renew at the tournament site. USCF membership MUST be purchased or renewed before the tournament begins. End of online registration is 11AM, Sunday, the morning of tournament. On-site/walk-in registration occurs from 11:30AM to 11:50AM. Players that are not at tournament site at least 5 minutes before Round 1 start time, will be withdrawn from the tournament. ***********************************************
