Desc: This event begins at 9:00am on Saturday 8/31/24 and is the official Florida State Quick Chess Championship ************************************************************** This is a side event of the 2024 Harvey Lerman Florida State Championship (USCF Membership can be purchased here and is required: https://new.uschess.org/form/membership ************************************************************** The tournament is 4 round tournament with G/15;d0 time control, byes must be requested before round 1. Chess players are responsible for bringing their own set and clock to the event. ************************************************************** Top Florida resident gets trophy and title of Florida State Quick Champion. One section open to everyone, prize payout percentage based on entries 1st Place: 25%, 2nd Place: 15%, Top U1800: 10%, Top U1200: 10%. Current USCF membership is required for participation.
