JACKSONVILLE Fall Series - SCHOLASTIC
Join us on Saturdays for our free Jacksonville Scholastic Fall Series! Starting August 13th, Chess for Charity Jax will host a beginner tournament for all K-12 players under the rating of 800 (U800). At each tournament, players will be entered into our November 12th drawing of a LEGO® Chess Set! In addition, Chess for Charity Jax is teaming up with the amazing people at Urban Youth Park Jax to offer an exclusive Chess Ninja class for the first 20 players who attend any of our scholastic tournaments this fall. This class is free and will be held on Friday, November 18th from 5pm to 6pm.

TOURNAMENT DETAILS
Standard Swiss, 15 minute game with no delay, 3+ rounds.
Active USCF number required. Chess sets and clocks provided.
**NO on-site registration**
SCHEDULE
Check-in at 10:45am. Tournament starts at 11am.

Chess for Charity Jax is an entirely volunteer-run and self-funded family organization dedicated to giving back to our community. Inspired by our children’s love for the beautiful game of chess, Chess for Charity Jax serves the community through the generosity of our members. We collect nonperishable food items during our free classes and free rated chess tournaments and donate that food to local food banks. Our chess instructors and tournament directors are a group of volunteers that donate their time and knowledge to help further chess in Northeast Florida. Please come and experience what we offer and if you can, bring a nonperishable food item because like in chess, EVERY PIECE COUNTS!
