Desc: 🌸 Spring Rock Open Saturday, May 16th – The Rock Church, Westchester 10601 SW 48th St, Building C, Miami, FL 33165 Welcome the spring season with a USCF-rated rapid tournament at The Rock Church! The Spring Rock Open invites players of all ages and skill levels to compete in a fun and competitive four-round event featuring longer time controls and a relaxed tournament atmosphere. Sections: • Open • U2000 • U1600 • U1000 • U600 (Sections may be combined for pairing purposes only.) Format: • 4 Rounds • G/30; +5 delay • Same-day & on-site registration allowed • Bring a chess clock if you have one Prizes: 💰 Cash Prizes (Open & U2000): 40% of each section’s entry fees paid out as cash prizes (55/30/15 split) 🏆 U1600, U1000 & U600: Trophies for top finishers Schedule: • On-site registration & check-in: 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM • Round 1 begins at 12:00 PM • All rounds played consecutively • Event ends approx. 4:30 PM Entry Fee: • $30 early (before Thursday 11:59 PM) • $40 late (Friday & on-site) Location: The Rock Church – Building C 10601 SW 48th St Miami, FL 33165 USCF Membership Required All players must have a current US Chess membership.
