Name: JACKSONVILLE - National Chess Day Tournament at MOSH 2023
Desc: Entry Fee $30.00 in advance includes admission to the museum for each player. ALL PLAYERS must have a valid USCF ID# to participate. Non-USCF members can purchase a membership or renew via this site. TOURNAMENT INFO: 5 rounds G/25;d5 dual rated chess in four sections. Check-in at 9:30 am. Round 1 starts at 10 am. All registration is online. TROPHY AWARDS in each Section: Top 5 INDIVIDUALS & Top 3 SCHOOLS (min. two players from the same school - HOMESCHOOL CO-OPs eligible). Bring clocks, if you have one. All sets are provided. Museum Entry is free for participants, but parents and non-competing siblings must pay regular museum entry fees on the day of the event. Note: FREE EVENT T-SHIRT to all registered by 10/1/22 for National Chess Day. Please submit your student's name and T-shirt size to tshirt@ScholasticChess.org Also, please note, that the nearest quick lunch venue is Jimmie John's on Hendricks Ave.
