The Miami Blitz Championship is a fast-paced evening event open to players of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're competing in the Miami FIDE Open, the Miami Scholastic Open, or simply looking for an exciting blitz tournament, this championship offers a fun, energetic, and competitive atmosphere with cash prizes awarded to the top finishers.

• 7 Rounds
• Swiss System
• US Chess Blitz Rated
• Time Control: G/3 +2

Schedule

Saturday, July 25

• Registration: 5:30 PM
• Round 1: 6:00 PM

Awards Ceremony immediately following the final round.

Entry Fee

• $30 through Thursday, July 23
• $40 on Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25

Prize Fund

30% of all entry fees will be returned as cash prizes.

Prize Distribution

• 🥇 1st Place: 55%
• 🥈 2nd Place: 30%
• 🥉 3rd Place: 15%

Eligibility

The Miami Blitz Championship is open to all players, regardless of participation in the Miami FIDE Open or Miami Scholastic Open.
