Name: Florida State Collegiate Chess Championship  
Desc: -- Must be a College Student to Register -- This is the second annual Florida State Collegiate Chess Championship, there will be an Open rated section, a U1500-rated section, and an unrated section. There will be a 20-dollar registration fee for the Open and U1500 section, the Unrated section will have no fee, you do not need to pay to register for the unrated. The two rated sections will also have a team championship, the top 4 scorers from each school will count, and the school with the highest total score of their top 4 players will win. Time Control is 40|5. First Round starts at 10 am, Second Round starts at 11:30 am, Third Round starts at 1 pm, 4th round starts at 3 pm, 5th round starts at 4:30 pm. The top player and runner-up will receive a trophy and title in the Open, U1500, and unrated sections. The top team in the Open and U1500 will receive a trophy and a state title. We will be using a Swiss system. The tournament will be in the Marshall Student Center on the Tampa campus at USF in room 3705. Must have a USCF and FCA membership to compete in the Open and U1500 section
