Name: 2023 Florida State Senior Championship
Desc: This is the registration for the US Chess Rated Florida State Senior Championship by the Florida Chess Association at the Boca Raton Library 1501 Spanish River Blvd, Boca Raton, FL 33431 held on May 27-28. This tournament is open to Florida residents aged 50 and above. The winner of the championship section will be the Florida representative to the Irwin Tournament of Senior Champions held at the US Open. ************************************************************** There will be five games of USCF Rated 70min; 10-second delay. The rounds on Saturday, 5/27: 9:30AM, 1:30PM, 4:30PM Sunday 5/28: 9:30AM, 1:30PM. ************************************************************** There are two sections for this event, OPEN & U1600. Prizes (based on 40): OPEN: $400, $200, U1800: $100. U1600 Section: $150, $100, U1200: $50. Prizes and trophies to the top players in each section. Live/Current ratings used for pairing and prize purposes. There must be at least three in each class for an under section prize. *************************************************************** USCF Membership and Florida Chess Membership is required for this event, if the US Chess website does not show you as a current member you will not be paired.
