Open to all to play! Top scoring University of Florida student, faculty, or staff in the Open Section will earn the title of Club Champion. --- Active US Chess Federation membership required. Purchase US Chess membership at https://new.uschess.org/become-member --- Entry Fee: $20 on or before 11/12, $30 after or on-site. Free entry for USCF 2200+ with entry fees deducted from any prize winnings (contact us by email if you qualify). --- Prizes ($1,600 based on 100 players): Open Section: $250 (gtd.) - $150 - $90 - $50 - U2000: $80 - $40, U1800 Section: $160 - $100 - $60 - U1500: $80 - $40, U1200 Section: $140 - $80 - $40 - U900/Top Unrated: $80 - $40 - Top Scholastic (K-12): $80 - $40 --- Time Control: Game in 30 minutes with a 5 second increment per move --- Schedule: 10am - 11:30am - 1:30pm - 3pm - 4:30pm --- Byes: 2 half point byes available, request before the beginning of Round 3. --- Equipment: All players should bring their own sets and clocks.
