Event Summary

Name: Doral Open  
Desc: Join us for the Doral Open at Doral Glades Park! This USCF-rated event features four fast-paced rounds of G/25; d5 chess in a beautiful, modern community center setting. Players of all ages and skill levels are welcome. No on-site registration is permitted. Sections: • Open • U1600 • U1000 • K–8 • K–5 • K–3 • K–1 (Sections may be combined for pairing purposes only if necessary.) Format: 4 Rounds – G/25; 5 delay Round 1 begins at 11:30 AM. All remaining rounds are played back-to-back with no breaks in between. No registrations are allowed the day of the tournament. Prizes: • Open: 45% of section entry fees (55/30/15 split) • U1600: 30% of section entry fees (60/40 split) • U1000 & Scholastic: Trophies for top finishers Entry Fee: • $30 early (before Thursday 11:59 PM) • $40 late (Friday only) No Saturday or day-of registration Location: Doral Glades Park – Multipurpose Room 7600 NW 98 Pl, Doral, FL 33178 USCF Membership Required: All players must have a current US Chess membership.
