NO ENTRY only for current SPR'26 students of JAX Chess Academy. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Every USChess Rated event requires all players to have a valid USCF ID# to participate. This registration site will search US Chess database for your player's membership. If not found or expired, you must pay the extra $24 to renew/purchase a membership via this site or go to USChess.Org to renew or join. Registration closes Friday 5/8 at 6 pm. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ TOURNAMENT INFO: Five rounds G/25;d5 dual-rated chess in four grade groups/sections. Arrive before 9 am. There is no check-in. We will pair every registered player. Pairings (list of who is playing) are posted by 9:15 on SwissSys.com. Play and timers start promptly 9:30 am. Lunch (provided by parents). AWARDS at 2:30p: Trophies for top 5 places for INDIVIDUALS & top 3 TEAMS in each section (min. two players from the same school - HOMESCHOOL CO-OPs eligible). Bring a schoolmate to make a team. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ All chess pieces and sets are provided. Bring digital chess clocks, if you have one. Any digital chess clocks can be purchased anywhere online for under $25. DGT North American (best choice) about $45. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ What are BYEs? Only to be used if an excused absence is needed for up to two rounds. Need to leave early? Select a R5 bye. Cannot be there at the start? Select R1 bye.
