Desc: 954Chess' FIDE Forum is a swiss format, single "Open" section (though you will see two sections listed here for pricing difference purposes), 7 round event that is both FIDE and USCF rated. FIRST 22 PLAYERS ONLY!... Designed for local advanced level players seeking opportunities to increase their FIDE ratings... Entry fees: free for GMs, IMs, WGMs & WIMs (no deduction from prize). 50% off for FMs & WFMs (please email info@954chess.com if you are a titled player who wishes to play in this event by 8/1). $135 for players rated 1900+ (FIDE) and $235 for players rated U1900 (FIDE) by 8/6 and +$20 after... Registration ends 8/8 at midnight, NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION!... Time control: G/90;D30... Schedule: 8/10 1:30pm & 6:30pm, 8/11 11:00am & 4:00pm, 8/12 11:00am & 4:00pm and 8/13 10:00am... Play will be governed by the FIDE Laws of Chess. Up to two half point byes allowed (Arbiter/Organizer must be notified 1 hour before the start of the 3rd round). If a player wishes to withdraw or cannot play a round, the player must notify the Arbiter/Organizer 1 hour before the start of that round or the player will be fined $50 which must be paid in full before the player is allowed to continue to play the event or any future 954Chess FIDE rated events (player will be withdrawn or given 0 point byes for rounds missed)...
