Name: COCOA BEACH Monday Night Weekly Tournament @ Juice 'n Java
Desc: Monday evening tournament at Juice 'n Java Cafe in Cocoa Beach! First round starts at 7PM. We welcome players of all levels, including new players. The format for this tournament is a 5 round Swiss with games being 10 minutes with 3 second increment. We will provide cash prizes at the end of tournament for the top placements in each section. The tournament will take roughly two and a half hours from the start time to complete. Parking: street parking on both North and South Orlando Avenue (A1A) is free. Juice 'N Java has a parking lot available for use, but you must purchase something (such as a coffee or pastry) and present your license plate number at the register. Different types of drip coffee are also complementary at the venue. Tournament will be rated but you do not have to be USCF member to register. Bringing a board and clock is very encouraged. Note: registration will be $5 more when paid in person at the door for adults. If unsure what section to register for: register for the "Open" section for the most competitive play, or for the "U1300 Amateur" section if you are more of an amateur player.
