Sponsored by the Leon County Division of Tourism/Visit Tallahassee and Challenger Learning Center (CLC), the Tallahassee Young Knights (TYK) Chess Club is organizing an unrated simultaneous exhibition during the 2026 Tallahassee Chess Fest. This simul will feature GM Julio Becerra and GM Alexander Fishbein. Due to space limitation, participation is limited to the first 24 registrants. Please register early to secure a spot.
Date: April 4th (Saturday), 2026
Location: Challenger Learning Center, 200 S Duval St, Tallahassee, FL 32301
Time: All games will start at 10:30am and are expected to finish by 12:00pm. Please arrive no later than 10:00am.
Registration fee: $15 online by 4/3/2026 (with $5 discount if payment is received by 3/1/2026). No on-site registration.
Notes: You are strongly encouraged to bring your own chess sets and clocks (a limited number will be provided by the organizers).
