Desc: E4Everyone Summer Open ♟ Four round duel rated G25;d5 games. Featuring scholastic & open sections. Lunch and refreshments included with each entry. When: Saturday July 17th ⏰ Check in begins: 9:00 AM ⏰ Round Times:10:00 AM – 2:00 PM ⏰ Lunch 12-1PM Where: 455 58th Ave SW, Vero Beach, FL 32968 Glendale Christian Church ️ Free parking at venue Format: ♟ Time Control: Tournament is both Classical and Rapid. The game is 25 minutes with a delay of 5 seconds. ♟ 4 Round Swiss Sections: ♟ Unrated: This is open for any play under the age of 18 who is not yet registered with the USCF. It should be noted that this is designed to novice and beginner students who are just being introduced to tournament play. To a player proficient with the game entering one of the rated sections is highly recommended. ♟ Scholastic: K-5, 6-8th, 8th-12th. USCF rating required. It should be noted that the entire Scholastic section is U 1100. Players are welcome and encouraged to play up into the open. Younger players who feel comfortable are welcome to play up into older sections. Sections may be complained about if entires are too low. ♟ Open: The open section is exactly that. Open! Anyone any age rated with USCF can join. Entry Fee: $$ $15 prior to July 1st $$ $20 After July 1st $$ $25 on-site $$ We don't want anyone to miss out because of finances, please reach out to the contact info below if cost is an issue!!! Prizes: 🏆Scholastic will be provided 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place trophies per section 🏆 Upset Trophies will be provided as well! Open Prizes are based on entry.
