Desc: -- Update: Online Registration ends at 9:00AM on Sep'27 and Onsite registration ends at 9:30AM--- North Atlanta Chess Club is proud to host a Pizza Scholastic Chess Tournament on Saturday, September 27th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Address:- 3140 Old Atlanta Rd, Suwanee, GA 30024. This USCF-rated event will consist of four rounds, with time controls set at G/25 + 5-second increment. Round times are scheduled for 10:00 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:15 PM, and 2:30 PM. Pizza will be served for players after round 2. The tournament will be divided into Three rating-based sections: U600, U1100, U1500. Prizes will be awarded in each of U600, U1100, U1500 sections, with 1st Place receiving $50 plus trophy and 2nd and 3rd Place earning trophies. The entry fee is $25 if paid by September 23rd, and $35 by September 25th and $40 thereafter. Participation is limited to 50 players, so early registration is strongly encouraged. 1/2-Pt. Byes: Available, limit two. Must request 1/2-point byes before round 1 ends. 0-point byes available at any time for any round. Players may play up if rating within 100 points of the section requirement. Sections may be combined at TD discretion. USCF membership is required and should not be expired.
